NEW SA/FB Side Marker Lenses coming Q1 2026!
Hey all! First post about some of our upcoming products in development.
Today's post is about my absolute FAVORITE part coming down the pipeline into production: NEW manufacture side marker lenses for SA and FB RX-7's, including custom colors down the line.
That's right, not New Old Stock (NOS), not salvaged used parts, but NEW lenses here at RotorWorks!
Here's a sample of our initial proof of concept:

These are the colored lenses (amber front, red rear) on your side markers / running lights installed on the front and rear quarter panels on your SA and FB RX-7's.
Over time, the OEM lenses age and fade from UV and become brittle, often cracking at the screw holes. NOS replacements are available from eBay and some resellers (like my good friend Mikey with Mikey's Rotary in Vancouver, WA, check him out!), however these used parts aren't getting any younger and will soon dry up as well.
With our manufacturing background, we came up with a process to start manufacturing new lenses in UV resistant clear resin that we can pigment to match OEM lenses, or create custom lenses like smoke variants.
Currently, since these take about 2 days to fully cure and temper in our silicone molds, we are buying equipment and material run multiple molds at a time, making it possible to supply enough on our website to sell to everyone.
I'm aiming for Q1 of 2026 to start offering these for sale. I'd love feedback from everyone about what y'all think, or if you have custom color variants you want to see us supply! Reach out in our "Contact Us" page, or shoot me an email directly at RotorWorksLLC@gmail.com .
RESTORATION, CONVENIENCE, PERFORMANCE. Those are my 3 driving goals for the RX-7 community, starting with making new replacement parts for pieces of our old rigs where OEM parts aren't available anymore.
(Here's some side-by-side comparisons of an OEM lens beside one of ours- try and guess which is which 😎🤘)

As always, thank you for checking out RotorWorks! We appreciate your support as we grow from an idea into a real business.
